Mebird's Journal, 20 June 2013

156 Which is what I weighed Sunday but I was just in a place of not knowing how to feel but now I do. My goal was to lose 30lbs, I lost that. I started at 188 and lost down to 158. The lowest I have weighed is 152. I am about 5'6 1/2 5'7 maybe so to be too thin is not what I want. I know it is only about 2-3 lbs but they make a difference. I just want to remain at about 154-157 keep the 30lbs weight loss and be ok. I am not going to turn into a person who obsesses about this and then deny and lie to myself about a few lbs! That is crazy! I thank God that I accomplished a great goal basically on my own following my own plan of eating and exercise. Not really giving up a lot but just watching portions, keeping a journal and exercise, that is what I will continue to do and remain healthy and happy! As women we have so many body image issues, and with lives fuller than ever we should take time to take care of us, make sure we look and feel good, but at the same time perfection is overrated and unattainable! Be the best "YOU" possible! Make the changes and adjustment that are benneficial to you and stay encouraged. The fact that you are trying and have made progress is enough to celebrate! Be blessed, and healthy!
