I'm really just getting started with this challenge cause I had to eat all the junk food in my house sunday and yesterday before I could start. This is me being honest cause I think I have a food addiction and I can't have any junk in my house or it will call to me.
167.0 lb Lost so far: 9.6 lb.    Still to go: 7.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

It's perfectly okay to be honest!! At least you are admitting that you have a food addiction, and now we can all help you overcome it!! :)

I hear you, I have to learn to take the suggested portion, and close the box and put it away... out of site helps... but yeah junk food in the house is trouble...

We all have some degree of a food addiction, or else we wouldn't be here. Let's face it, if it were an addiction to smoking, that would be one thing, but we can't quit food. We just have to learn to eat what we need to keep our bodies healthy. It is just really nice that we are here for basicly the same reason and we are all working towards the same goal. It is great that we can help each other along the way when we have bad days.

I totally agree with redone750. I know I'm an addict. That's why it takes so much concentration to pull myself out of this hole. But being on this site really helps. I try to check in at least once a day. The fact that other people have the same food addiction as me helps a lot. It brings me back to reality. Sometimes when I'm eating too much, I actually forget that I am trying to diet. I'll kid myself into believing that I'm a "normal" person when it comes to food. Incidentally, every skinny person I know actually diets consistently. They are always watching their calories. It just happens to be easy for them. I know there are people with "fast metabolisms," but most people are just like us but with willpower.
