amanda123's Journal, 11 October 2010

I passed the weekend with flying colors!!! I didn't cheat! This is huge for me. I certainly had temptation too! :D I am proud to make it over that hump and 212 is the lowest weight yet for me. Oh, I rode my bicycle this weekend. lol! The dogs really loved it. My daughters 6 month old lab mix puppy, Wolfie, decided I was playing and was lunging at me and nipping the sides of my legs. I had to get a stick and swat him a few times while trying to ride the bike to get him to back off. It was really fun though - until I ripped my new jeans. The leg of my pants got caught on the chain cover thingy and ripped them. I think I can fix them because they tore where the fabric connects and it really just ripped the stitching out. I am one wierd cookie you know that? I didn't have a hard time not cheating this weekend. After weeks of not doing well it was like something clicked again and I am ready to do this. We even went out to eat Mexican (my favorite)Sunday and I wasn't tempted too much. I had beef fajitas without the tortilla and I drank water. It was still a nice meal. It's pouring down rain here. My car leaks and I forgot and sat in a nice squishy car seat this morning. Nothing like going to work looking like you peed yourself. :D Happy Monday!

Proud of you Amanda. Congrats on the lowest weight ever. HAPPY DANCE for you. Now that you know you can do it, it shouldn't be so hard to stick with it. You have a wonderful day and because of the leak in your car, you may want to carry a change of clothes with you.:)

Woo hoo!!! 212 is excellent!!! I've been having problems with our new puppy (9 weeks old). She is so bitey since we haven't been walk her with her stress fracture. You sound like you are in a great space again. That is wonderful!

Congrats Amanda, on going to a restaurant you like and controlling what you put in your mouth. No excuses now, you've done it once. And doesn't it feel wonderful to be at a new low? You are well on your way and will be in "underland" in no time. Hope your bum dried out! Maybe you should carry plastic garbage bags with you to cover the seat - LOL

Happy to hear you are over your slump and medically things seem to be on track. Isn't it amazing when that feeling of "I CAN DO THIS!!!" hits you. Once that hit me I set some small goals to keep that momentum going in my psyche since the total weight loss goal was really daunting and seemingly unachievable. So happy all is looking bright for you !! We was worried about you!!!
