TGIF!!! Well I had every intention of working out this morning. I set my alarm for 4:30 am but it didnt happen. I have to leave my house by 6am so maybe morning workouts are too tough? I will start tomorrow morning. I can still sleep in till 6 or 7 and then get up and walk/run. Oh I also bought a Tae Bo DVD at a garage sale last week that I want to try. I used to do that in high school and it was fun. Tomorrow is our company picnic. This will be my first one but I hear it is huge. We will have 2 bouncy houses, a huge slide, a treasure hunt, a duck pond, and bingo for kids and then there is bingo for the adults, volleyball, softball, dunking booth, hourly drawings for prizes & last year they gave away a 47" flat screen tv among other things. Funnel cakes, bbq, potato salad, snow cones, nachos, you name it - I will have to be strong tomorrow! It should be alot of fun though and the kids are going to love it. I am going to try and get most of my school work caught up tonight so I can enjoy my weekend.

sounds like a fun weekend is in store! went to my hubby's company picnic at an apple orchard with donuts, pie, caramel apples.... it was tough but i got thru and so will you! hopefully they'll have better meal options than i had - lots of high carb food (baked beans, corn, hot dogs, bbq chicken) i did manage to grab a piece of chick before they slathered it in sauce and i loaded up on water. i use to do tae bo a few days a week - it's a real butt kicker! have a lovely, lovely weekend - enjoy the picnic!

Oh Amanda, sounds like you work for a wonderful company with them doing so much for their employees. While it might take a lot of strength to get through the day I know you can do it if you put your mind to it. And think of all the cals you can burn partaking in all the fun!

Well I wish I worked for them.... I guess I do.... sortof... I am a temp. I work in the accounting department and have been here 7 months now. My job could end around the end of this year or it may go till March. March could roll around and they may still need me. It's a little .... ok alot... stressfull not knowing how long I will be here for. That's why I am going to school - so I will have a better chance of finding a good permanent job. I am just so thankful to have a job at all in this economy. It is really great that they do this for their employees though. They include the contract and temp employees in all of the drawings which is really great. I am looking forward to it. I wish I could go in the bouncy house! LOL!
