Doing well. I must get in some fast days to get my weight back under control and not eat more than I have been used to over many months. I will do it today for the rest of the day and then at least one day over the weekend to get my body used to eating less. My metabolism-slowing meds are not good and I have to take them. I haven't been able to get exercise around here as it's getting cold and rained for the past three days. I am thinking of seriously moving away. I have to get out of debt, this winter I can do that and I will have more than enough money to move to get started out there. Nothing is going to happen here except the fact I don't like the cold half of the year. My relatives are a miserable group and my mom was angry when I told her I got more credit this week. (My twin sister could be improving her life and doesn't take the initiative, I have nothing holding me back to make my life better by moving). I don't like where I live and have been waiting too long to move. I will not come back here if I move, no matter what. I can go to school there too after a year at night. I can't go to night school here, there's no way to get there. I need to live somewhere great and Hawaii will be a change for the better, I've already lived there and it is 100 times better than here. I have no social life here and won't as long as I'm here - it doesn't take anyone with any brain to realize I've been here fifteen years and because I don't have lots of money or a car I can't even get women to respond decently on Internet sites. I will begin to pay off debt and not buy more and try to leave this spring. I keep staying for lame reasons, but that is no longer necessary. :)

I'm sure that there is a good woman out there waiting for you that is interested in much more than money Glenn. Just do the best you can buddy, you will find her.

I've been here fifteen years and have NO social life. The town I live in is alternative for women so the single women are not looking for men. I went to one social group for example, all the women there were looking for NO men. There were married women and very elderly widows, and even widows of women there. I think a move may be the best thing for me. :)

Tonight I joined a social group in town that is free for singles. I'm hoping to meet a woman there. A friend, she is on the site, but a guy that lives in my building told me about it. Perhaps this is what I need to do as there is nowhere in my town to go to meet even people...

What ever or when ever you decide to move, don't wait until there is snow on the ground. They say when you least expect it and are NOT looking, someone comes along. That happened to me with my husband. Wouldn't have believed it otherwise. I wish you "good hunting" but patience is what you have to have. Maybe you HAVE lingered too long where you are. But don't delay or you will be looking at another year there. I wish you lots of luck and lots more patience. I'm thinking of you.

Thanks NN - I will wait until spring if I move. A neighbor told me Honolulu is quite crime-ridden now, he was there in the past five years. My friend Bruce found out who is real mom was before she passed away (both his adoptive mom and real mom died within months a few years ago before I knew him), and Bruce found his brother and his brother is out of work and homeless in Hawaii now. Bruce went out there a few times when his brother had a place - and didn't like it there, but I did like it when I was there in the mid 1980s. I had no problem meeting women there, and I was younger and better looking then too so even the tourist women were friendly and so were the girls living there from all over the world. The town I live in now is small and there's nothing to do around here. I went for a walk today. I will try this group out my neighbor recommended. A female friend who I haven't talked to in almost a year is a member I noticed but we're both looking for something else besides each other, she needs a man who is more financially secure than me. I have been looking for a long time so maybe it will take a move to improve my social life... thanks for checking in. I'll try to visit your journal much more. I will be getting on here a lot more from now on than I have been recently.
