It's amazing how much of a difference not exercising can do. Thursday and Friday, there was no excuse for me NOT to exercise other than being lazy. Saturday, I got plenty of exercise...about 2 hours of jumping around in a group of sweaty people. That was fantastic...

BUT, I sure did hurt Sunday. I felt like I couldn't move. My legs and knees and feet hurt like nothing I've had before. I felt like I needed to walk with a cane. Even today, my knees are still bothering me. I'm hoping that it gets better tomorrow so I can get back into my routine. I hate to say it, I actually miss getting exercise (what's wrong with me?)

That brings me to the other thing I need to work on...I was looking up so information on carbs and losing weight and HOLY COW! I went back and looked at how many carbs I was eating. I'm shocked! I don't think I've had a day where I've not eaten over 100 carbs in a day (a couple of days, I was almost to 200 carbs!) On the site I came across, this is what it said:

If you are trying to lose weight, 20-70 grams are recommended - depending on your level of activity. See the link, further down this page, listed under Related Links.

I'm so not even close to that. At the bottom of the page though, it does say this:

Quote:
Unlike protein and fats, there is no minimum daily requirement of carbohydrate in order to flourish physically. If you are interested in carbohydrates in relation to weight loss, there is, however, a maximum recommendation.

I mean, I guess carbs aren't the end of the world...but I know I can definitely improve on the number that I am consuming. That's going to be really hard. I really love my bread and pasta :( I'll just have to find healthier alternatives.
