Dropping so quickly right now. It's nice. My weight for the last 3 or 4 weeks has been up and down. I will eat right all week and get down to 215 by the weekend and then I eat horribly all weekend and jump up to 223 or so and then I start over again - it's like a roller coaster. Well, NO MORE! I will not let this weekend defeat me. Last night I took a new picture and posted it here on fatsecret. I also posted one of me from before. Maybe that will help give me some motivation. I made a 96 on my first spanish test!!! Yay!!! Muy bueno! New developments on my wreck: Insurance won't pay. They said that they went to his property and a limb had fell and broke the fence in a back pasture. They say that the cows came from a pasture around back and not from the little electric fence enclosure up front. Anyways since he repaired the fence in a timely manner and he didnt know it was down they see no signs of neglect and unless he was neglectful somehow they will not cover the damages to my car. It doesnt matter that he left his front gate open. So I called him (the cow owner) and asked him what he wanted to do. I want to try and settle this between ourselves if we can. He said that insurance said they were going to see if they could go back and change my coverage from liability to full coverage. I told him that the insurance guy didn't tell me that so I had to call the insurance guy back again and he said he made the request but there is no guarantee that they will agree to do it. I really don't think they will. The guy that owns the cow said that if they do he will be willing to help with the deductible. I hope they will do that and I should know by Monday. It kindof made me mad because when I was talking to the guy that owns the cow he said "the insurance adjustor told me you should just be glad you didn't hit the cow in Texas, because in Texas you would be liable for the cow" That makes me mad that he would tell me that. I don't think that is even the law in Texas, but if it is, it only applies to farmers roads. I hit this cow on a state highway - not a little farmers road. You know I could be one of those people who cry pain & suffering and want medical and holler that I am hurt and cant work etc. etc. I am not trying to take anyone to the cleaners or screw anyone over here. All I want is my car replaced. It's as simple as that. I would still have a car if his cows hadn't been in the middle of the road that night. Now I am out a car and I just want it made right. Oh the owner of the cow said he understood if I wanted to sue because I would just be going after his insurance company and if I won they would have to pay and not him and if he doesnt have to pay out of pocket that would be better. It is just really depressing that this can happen. What is the point of home and farm insurance if it doesnt cover things like this. I know one thing if I ever get a nice car again I am paying for full coverage on it.

Sorry the whole car/cow think isn't working out for you. Glad the weight is coming off. Weekends can be a bugger for me unless I am just home all weekend. Then I'm okay. But who wants to be home all weekend.

Call a lawyer... don't delay too much longer and see if you have a case. Give the farmer/insurance company thru the weekend and then be active and call someone to go to bat for you. (just my humble opinion)

Absolutely call a lawyer! My son did when one of his friends totalled his car and he only had liability.... he had medical costs that needed to be covered and the lawyer took care of it and he actually got money on top of the medical!
