I am cutting out sugar. Dr. Oz had a couple of drs. on that said that sugar not fat causes the plaque on the artery walls. My husband doesn't eat sugar and his cholesterol is 130! i eat sugar and mine is 239. He eats eggs and cheese. of course in moderation.
149.0 lb Lost so far: 21.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.1 lb a week

Maybe it will really help you to give up "wheat", bread and anything cooked with wheat. I tried for 7 years to diet and lose but I was stuck in insulin resistance. Giving up wheat has helped tremendously ... now I'm losing about 3 lbs a week, sometimes more.
