Well I made it through the weekend without cheating or having a carb blow out. Labor day was nice. My sisters came over and we had a bbq. We smoked briket, ribs, and pork loin. I rode a horse! I havent been on one in YEARS but it was fun. It was kindof funny. My sister could make that horse do anything. She had her walking, trotting, turning any direction she wanted her to go and even backing up. I got up there and at first she would walk for me, but she knew I had no clue how to ride and she just stood there and refused to walk. It was so funny. Oh I was videoing my daughter riding and walked right into a huge pile of fire ants wearing sandals. My poor feet are going to have blisters all over. Our electrical problems are fixed. Cody wired it up wrong at first. I was standing in the living room when they flipped the first breaker on and my dvd player went POP! and smoke started coming out of it. Then the propane stove/heater started making horrible noises and smoke just billowed out of it. I was in the living room screaming "turn it off!" but my father in law can't hear very well. Thank goodness everything else was on surge protectors and was ok but the surge protectors all need replacing now. I called my dad and he came over and looked at the box and could see right off what was wrong with it. He moved a wire and "voila!" it was perfect. No more sparking and no more flickering lights. It didnt cost us as much as we were afraid it would. I almost bawled when everything started blowing up. I just knew it got our a/c, tv, laptops, etc. I was so relieved it just blew up the dvd player and the heater.
Oh I am sore all over. I didnt exercise really but I took the kids on a picnic at the park Saturday and I chased pooter all over the park helping him slide over & over and over and I swang the girls and did alot more walking than usual. I was so shocked when I woke up Sunday morning and my butt was sore? Not sure what I did to do that but my butt muscles hurt. My step mom's yorkie has decided to move in with me for some reason. He has been staying at our house for 2 weeks now. They will come get him and bring him home and he just runs back to our house. He is so cute he loves to play ball and Sunday I threw his toy all afternoon and now my right arm is so sore. I had to take some Excedrin to go to sleep that night! lol! He is adorable, he sleeps right in the middle of the bed between me and a Cody on his back with his little short legs sticking straight up in the air. Well I didnt mean to write a novel. Had a great weekend and I hope everyone else did too.
