Chocolate is an agent of de debil... just sayin'. My daughter was playing host to her teenage friends and decided to cook in the kitchen. Oy. At some point...this involved melting dark chocolate. Oy. I went to the kitchen to see what the damaged look like after it was all said and done...and there it was... this little pot of still warm melted chips. Oy. Let's just say... my eyes rolled so far back in my head I thought they would get stuck. (I'm not kidding). Oy. Oy.Oy.

I did manage a loss... but ketosis strip isn't registering anything... that may be the choco facto. Anyhoo.. Still here...still trying... will keep it up. ((see previous journal entry))
285.4 lb Lost so far: 56.6 lb.    Still to go: 65.4 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I know what you mean Steve. Back in June, at my first outing with friends, since starting this journey, a friend of a friend, comes over and starts offering samples (pieces) of Xocai chocolate which is supposed to be "healthy and promote weight loss", to me. It told him no thanks, and he continued to push it, so I told him I thought he might be an agent of Satan, (jokingly, of course) and he got very offended. however, I only have so much will power and after telling him TEN times that I was on a low carb diet, asking him the ccarb count, and telling him no thanks, he continued to shove it in my face. He left me alone after that. It is amazing tha some people, when they find out that you are attempting to lose weight and change your lifestyle, will try even harder to make you succumb to the things you aren't eating anymore! Congrats on the loss, and have a great Sunday!

Loved your picture FD, you look like a different person. Glad you still managed a loss despite the chocolate. Some foods are very hard to say no to. Tomorrow is a new day. Hope its a good one for you. You are doing awesome.

Chocolate is a food group right? I have made those little chocolate whips to help during my high cocoa cravings. I have always loved the little semi-sweet chips or the semi-sweet chocolate bars.
