CJT1217's Journal, 06 February 2013

Supplementing with protein shakes for breakfast, midmorning, midafternoon, and post workout with largest meal of the day at lunch. This will be the usual thing until desired weight is achieved. Snacked on nuts/seeds 2 hours before outdoor cardio. Too late in the evening to have a light meal for dinner, so the postworkout shake sufficed. No hunger whatsoever.

Exercise consisted of 50 minutes trail running, 10 minutes hiking, 20 minutes weight resistance of back and bis; high-reps, 2 sets.

>=) Tanks. I'm a man on a mission! I was feeling soooo sluggish and heavy after all the eating bad and having that damn cold. I need to get back down to feel balanced again.

You will do it - and I bet your weather is great for outdoor running. It is snowing hard here right now! Hmmmmfffffph - Spring is still a long way off.

Nice work!! I can't sustain on shakes - I need to eat actual FOOD. But glad it works for you!!

Oh ya, it was around 60 degrees when I went running after work. Shorts all day! hahaha. What about trudging through the snow with those snow trax type things? Doing that layered up when I was in alaska for two weeks made me lose some poundage!

Yeah right! I am SO not a Winter fan...barely get out of the house to go to work, do errands or go to a movie! We TALK about skiing, skating, winter hiking...but end up with cocoa and videos on the couch!

Ya, the big lunch really helps. Then some macadamias in the afternoon gives me that full feeling too. Surprisingly enough after running and having a shake, I really dont feel hungry at all. It's days that I don't exercise that make me feel hungrier! I never did understand that haha

Luckily I don't have to live in areas that snow a lot, thank god. Well, you could always do a couple minutes of the evil Burpees for a good, quick, intense, complete body workout >=)
