Well, not sure how accurate the weighing is but I believe I have lost at least 5 pds. Either my original weigh in is incorrect or I have really lost 12 pounds this week. Kind of strange but I guess believable. I have ankles now. I guess I might have lost a LOT of water weight. I am excited though.
269.0 lb Lost so far: 12.0 lb.    Still to go: 129.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Best time to weight urself is in the morning.. did you do that with your initial weighing?.. if so.. then I believe that its water weight. I lost only lost 5 lbs my first week... but ur 12 may be most of the water weight that you've built up over time.

I'm on a different diet, but like the person above I found it easy to be able to really know where I was regarding my weight by weighing myself when I wake up. (It'll usually be your lowest weight of the day). Anyway, fluctuations will occur, and four pounds plus in water weight in one day can be possible. Also, different scales weigh differently, one scale at the doctor's office had me like 8 pounds heavier than in another room a few weeks later and I was about the same weight. The lower weight scale was the one that was correct as it was closer to my scale... :)

Well, I weighed first thing this morning. I actually couldn't wait to get on the scale...believe it or not. I feel like I have lost a lot not to mention, this week I was really bloated with my cycle and all. I just thought it was odd to have lost 12 within my first week. I have done weight watchers before and started off with a 5 pound weight loss my first week...so I was expecting at least 5 pounds to be gone. Then again, it might have been the difference in the two scales. I should have weighed myself at home before going to the doctor too. That was silly on my part. But I will wait and see what this week brings.

Either way it sounds like you have definitely posted a loss this week, so GOOD!!!! I lost about 8 the first week or so and that wasn't dealing with TOM (time of month) so 12 pounds, though large, is totally doable in the first week or 2.
