amanda123's Journal, 13 July 2010

I am so so sleepy!!! I had to fight hard to stay awake on the drive to work and now at my desk I am dosing off. I recorded my weight at 238 but I am actually below that a little bit. My scales are acting goofy - maybe I need a new battery? I weighed 237.2, 236.8, and 237.4 this morning??? I just recorded 238 to be safe. Well Summer II started today. I logged in and my economics class is going to be totally different this time. I even have a different teacher. Instead of having a quiz after each chapter there are just 3 exams & one comprehensive with only one try for each one. I don't think it will be too bad but I liked having the quizes after each chapter. It helped me to understand what I read better and made a great study guide for the tests. We still don't know what is wrong with my dad and I am even more afraid than I was. Yesterday they did an ultrasound on his stomach and today they are sending him to the hospital for another kind of test where he drinks the chalky stuff & they scan his stomach again - I think it is a ct scan. He won't let anyone go with him and I just pray that when they tell him what's wrong - he will tell us. Coffee is starting to kick in and I'm finally waking up. I think I will take my first economics test tonight. The first test is over Ch 1 2 & 3 which I already studied in macro-economics so it should be a breeze.

It's no wonder why you are so tired. Honey you have a lot of stresses going on. I know you are worried about your dad and that can have a huge impact on the quality of our sleep. And now you have changes in the classes you are taking, let alone extensive classes at that. Just make sure to take care of yourself. Love yourself. And get plenty of rest when you can.

I pray that all works out OK for your Dad and that he tells everyone what is going on. My husband is having mysterious medical symptoms also. It is stressful when someone we love has something wrong and we don't know what it is. Remember to take care of yourself. Being too hungry, angry, lonely or tired can set us up for a slip in our food. We are here for you...
