I am having so much trouble staying on top of my diet. I think I need to join a support group. While I was working, the other ladies were my support. Seeing them everyday helped me maintain my diet. I am starting to get really discouraged in myself. I know that if I do I will blow it. Does anyone have suggestions? Maybe some other teachers or school employees who are struggling with the same issues?
238.0 lb Lost so far: 42.0 lb.    Still to go: 58.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You have lost 42 pounds. That is pretty amazing. Write down all the reasons you want to lose weight and post it on the fridge where you can see it every day. It's summer time. Get out there and do things you have not been able to do all year. Ride a bike, take a fitness class, start a new hobby. If you have kids, do things with them to get them moving and outside. Plan a picnic in the park (but stay on plan). Try some new recipes. Get some new music and go walking. There are so many things you can do. Plan a non food reward for every 5 pounds you lose this summer. Buy some fitness magazines and get yourself motivated. Look how far you have come. You can do it.

Hi Determined! I have buddied up with a few great friends on this site which has really helped me keep it going strong. Remember the past can assist you if you remember the times in which you succeeded, creating positive memories, and the future can be your friend if you see that in picturing it you are creating a vision of the next step. Do not make yourself wrong because you have not yet achieved it. it is important to love who you are now without reservation. Have fun with the process. Best Wishes, Towanda!!!
