I'm counting calories and keeping track. Today is cloudy and cool - I plan to head out to the cafe downtown to write. The short story that I'm writing now is taking time. It should be done (first draft) in a week but it needs a rewrite badly, more than any other short story I've written. It may be forty pages long. I figure I will have a dozen or so short stories for a three hundred page book hopefully by the end of the year. After these short stories are done it is back to writing the fantasy book about ancient Greece. That is coming along well and I will focus on that once I have this short story book done in its first draft form anyway. I am going to get a new computer first before I send my work out. My therapist is moving to Boston area to be with his girlfriend as she has a good job out there. It is difficult to find therapists in this area so I am going to wait until perhaps I'm in school if I go. I may go this fall part-time.

Yes the cafe has a computer hookup. I need to get a new computer to send out my work. It may take a month or two. I have two books completely done. If I get a good enough publishing deal I may move. The western needs a rewrite. Then there's the short story book that will be done by the end of the year. And the ancient Greece fantasy novel will be near done by year's end if not done. I know within a few years I will be published. I may even have some of my stuff made into films I think since it is that unusual. The good thing is if one short story is say bought and made into a film, then others will be too and it will expand my reading base. My mother said I will forget the computer in the cafe. Oh, it only is HUGE to carry. DUH. She is negative and acts like I have no brain. I don't know if she'll be around to see me published since she's so unhealthy and doesn't take care of herself - like my dad - but I think maybe one at least will be around to see me successful...
