Met up with some friends at a japanese restaraunt down in Oakland before catching the Chili Peppers at Oracle Arena last night and resisted some bomb looking sushi and signature Ozumo drinks. I had a huge lunch anyway and really wasnt too hungry, so dinner was a protein shake, followed by some drinks, then 2.5 hours later another protein shake to keep me full (and from getting too lit on the jameson) before heading in. Anthony Kiedis was on point, Flea talked his smack, and The Chili Peppers as a whole rocked it out!
177.0 lb Lost so far: 31.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Now that sounds like a fun show!Good for you getting tp hang with friends and resisting extra food. I see the Jameson diet is still working!

Yes! It's the best ever. ;) I'd rather do that than indulge in the snackies my coworkers have been brining in. It's still hard to resist temptation. But hey, giving in in moderation isnt so bad right? I think cashews are a weakness as well. I kind of killed half a can yesterday. yikes!

Sounds like a blast! I have had to rid my house of cashews...and most other nuts. I have a complete weakness there as well.

Since I've been indulging I think i'll try jogging today. Nothing aggressive like my usual trail running, but I think nice and easy to work the M.E.A.T. recovery method. The best advice I've ever gotten from a doc was after I dislocated my patella. He said "let pain be your guide." Let's do this, junior.

Lidsay that's awesome lol!! Love me some RHCP and they an def still bring it. Don't push CJT too hard that is, remember what happened to your shoulder. I can resist alot but boy do I miss sushi! Before trying to lower my refined carbs I ate it a couple times a week :-(. May be due for some tuna california roll soon. At leasty I actually prefer brown rice! I'm with you though. I'd take a cocktail over snackies anyday (that really is NOT good is it?). Hey where are those pics???

Doin a half day tomorrow, should be able to have start and finish pics from my low carb/no exercise challenge.... Sock attire... Haha! That's gotta be the wildest and well known rock "outfit" ever.

what the hell. why anyone would avoid eating sushi is beyond me. that's one of the most important things on my to do list when I leave this podunk town.

Oh you know me, when I go hardcore, rice is a no-no. I do miss me some unagi nagiri, shrimp tempura, lionking, dragon-roll, and beef teriyaki over rice!
