So I've been on phase 1 for 3 days now and I've managed to lose 6 pounds so I'm feeling pretty confident! I am 4 days out from surgery and inspite of feeling really uncomfortable, I'm doing ok. I get hit with nausea occassionally and lots of pressure, but I seem to be recovering well. If I continue getting better at the rate I've been, I should be up to par by Friday. Today is also my first day back at work... it's early right now so I haven't seen any coworkers yet, but I'm dreading it. For some reason the owner of the company decided to tell a few people why I was out of work which I was extremely livid about on Thursday and Friday... talk about inappropriate and unprofessional! Not much I can do about it now, just hopefully too many people don't approach me to see if the rumor is true. So anyways I just wanted to give you all an update that I'm doing ok and the weight is steadily coming off... yeah!

Great job on getting some of the fluid to move out of your body!! Good luck at work today. Boy, I'm telling you, your boss is running for a law suit, telling people at work like that. I'm sure you'll get attention, I hope they can act adult. What kind of work place is it? Hope things well!! Have a great day!

Good Luck w/ your co-workers girl... how rude for someone to spill the beans on your business!! Just don't let them know that it bothers you in the least for them to know and let em' know that it's your business... or better yet, just ask them about their chests, ha ha ha... I'm sure your looking better than some of them. =O Congrats on shedding some pounds!! Keep going girl!!

Absolutely innapropriate of your boss. But, hopefully the awkwardnes is kept at a minimum. Congratulations on the awesome job for the past few days dear! Looks like now that you are feeling better you might have rejuvenated your resolve. Plus, feeling like you look better can never hurt. :-) You are a brave woman, I am so scared to have something like that done. I have a zero pain tolerance!
