I was very disappointed at my low weight loss this past week. I'm going to Curves FIVE times a week. And I'm following Weight Watcher's to a tee. However, I'm being told that I'm replacing FAT with muscle and that muscle weighs more than FAT. I've lost 25 total inches in the last two months and I feel GREAT. I'm told that the scale will "eventually" catch up. Intellectually I know this, I just need to see the old scale reflect my progress too (big sigh).
226.8 lb Lost so far: 10.2 lb.    Still to go: 56.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Aw, I know what you mean about liking to see those results on the scales, as I'm the same. But it's great that you've lost so many inches and replacing fat with muscle will most definitely burn you more calories in the long run. I just wondered though if you are calculating activity points for the exercise. I know I've found that since adding regular exercise I've had to eat a little more... so I just wondered if this could be the same for you. Ultimately you are doing great though, so keep up the great work and those lbs will soon drop off. ;o)

WOW !!! 25 inches in 2 months !!! AWESOME - I looked at your chart and it seems we are on the same path ! You are doing a great job !! Working out 5 days a week is great !! Your scale will eventually catch up..... I try to determine things by the way my clothes fit and try to stay positive even when the scale tells me something different from the way I feel or the way my clothes are fitting.. Keep up the great work and have a nice holiday weekend ;)
