Stayed on track for the most part yesterday. I did cave in and have some popcorn when I got home yesterday. My hubby had made it and it was all fresh and smelling good! I didnt eat too much of it though - probably no more than 8 to 10 carbs worth. I know I am not supposed to have it, but it does have fiber in it at least. Tonight we have plans to go to a friend's house out of town and stay the night. I'm proud of myself that we planned ahead and we are cooking dinner than keeps me on track.

Here's my problem... I want to drink... I know I can't. I wonder how bad it would hurt me if I drank vodka with crystal light? The vodka has no carbs but I know your body still has to burn that off first. Another friend has invited us over Saturday night and they are cooking fajitas and there will be alot of people there and drinking. I don't drink much but I do like to drink socially. What to do... what to do?

yeah--its the bane of my existence too. i do coke zero and vodka. Kepp it to a minimum. Remember, it's like the popcorn...not all the time..mehbeh once a month..see how ur body reacts and how long it takes to get back into ketosis after this BBQ...also note that you may also decide, (after a drink or so) that a tortilla with the meat isn't that bad.. maybe just a couple of chips with salsa...Just watch yourself please...I just decided during my 3 months--I was going to be dry....it sucks, really does. But, right now I know that I am worth the effort, and there is no point in working this hard to just, (pardon my french) half ass it. WHAT A DOWNER I AM!!! lol go, have fun, eat fajitas with some salsa and guac lots of lettuce..fill up your stomach so you naturally don't drink as much. AND if they got a pool...awesome! Good Luck!
