CJT1217's Journal, 16 July 2012

Oh man, let's consider yesterday a carb spike day. You know how it goes, you go out with your other half (trying to make her my other half at least haha), go out and enjoy the great weather by walking around Berkeley, grabbing some beer, pizza, and other various sweets. AND THEN you still have a sweet tooth and grab more crap. smh. I've got some making up to do this week! Back on the 100% train from here til Friday! I've got my chicken, my shakes, my running gear, and no excuses to not hit up Rockville Hills to tear up some trails. Motivated. Dedicated. Can't be stopped. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS.

The way you are it wil all be gone tomorrow lol! Thinking I may need one of those days soon. I used to spike day at about 2000 cals with carbs and fat usually (focusing on a good day with one bad meal) with NO workout what so ever for one day a week and it worked. Been awhile... instead I've tried to be more consistant across the board and keep having smaller slip ups. Hmmm something to think about! No worries with your attitude!

Get after those trails, Clifford!!!

-3 prediction :P Ya, sometimes I've found that the spike day is beneficial. But i"ve never seen consistant results. Although, looking at the trends over time, I would tend to lose what was gained and more afterwards. Come to think of it, maybe it's helped me avoid hitting plateaus. Hmmm!!

That's supposed to be the point.... might be time to go back to them for a month, up the gym and see where I'm at in 4 weeks. Glad to hear you had a great weekend though :-)

Do you think those plural marriage folks call them "my other third" or "my other quarter"

haha ya huh. Maybe they have number systems? "So me and the #3 went out for a jog the other day...."

Humpf.......other half? or third? work that, brother!

I can barely handle a one "other half".

Ha! I call my ex wives -1 and -2 !!

Yeah one "other half" is MORE than enough. Watched sister wives a couple of times...again I am a "to each their own" person but it would drive me insane!

Ack. I don't even want to imagine that one, Lindsay. Ya, the weekend was AWESOME. I just need to realize when to stfu. I tend to talk too much sometimes and this one is a little fire-cracker.

Oh sounds like you may have met your match.... this should be good! Love a girl that can hold her own with the boys. And Lindsay, NO WAY, NO HOW! lol
