i'm going to try recording what i eat, maybe i will hold myself more accountable. Guilt myself into eating more of what i am supposed to. It's really hard with the holiday shopping to choose something healthy when you have to be quick. It's also hard with all of the holiday treats around my house. Good luck to me :0)

You're so right, this is a very challenging time of the year. Imagine how easy it will be to follow this plan once we get through THIS time of the year. Then it might seem like its easy huh? LOL It always helps to track what we eat. Good luck to you! You can do it!

I always write down what I eat because if I don't, I might be eating the correct foods but in way too big of portions. And although I'm not supposed to be counting calories..I do keep a close watch on them. As long as you are not too hungry, and not too full, you are doing ok, is what I gathered from the book.

I find a food journal very helpful. Besides keeping me accountable, if I have a food reaction, I can look back and see what may have caused it. Sometimes even foods that are "allowed" on our low-carb diets can still be a source/trigger of cravings.
