JockoT's Journal, 10 December 2016

Poor Lucy and Lily. Lily is stinking of medication and vet's surgery. Lucy thinks she is a stranger, and is hissing and spitting every time Lily goes near her. Lily just wants back with her buddy. It should just be a matter of letting the smell dissipate and the medication do its course. Then they should be back to best buddies again. Like in this photograph.

Smell is very important to cats and the vet's smell is one they definitely don't like!

The two of them are currently lying together. Lucy on the back of the settee and Lily on the cushions.

Oh good - that's progress. I expect Lily has been washing herself.

As long as Lucy doesn't launch herself onto Lily from the sofa back, all should be OK

So the bed wetting was a medical problem, after all? Poor baby. I do hope the girls are back to being besties.

Kes: Lily was in for spaying, nothing to do with the bed wetting. That happened twice in the past week. They think she may be picking up on Mrs Jocko's stress over what was the upcoming surgery.

Didn't think of that, Jocko. Hopefully that was it and the problems are over

Look at those pretty kitties. Jocko, hope they are back to being friends soon.

The two of them are pretty much back to getting along again. Lucy still has the odd hiss, but they are chasing each other about like before. Lily, apart from her shaved bits, seems pretty well back to her normal self. She gets her first post-op check today. And no more wet patches on top of the bed!
