I am sitting here this evening, really "pissed" at myself. After a good start to the month and then a horrific Sunday, Monday I was more than determined to kick ass and meet my goal of 180 pounds by the end of the month. Today though, was a bad day. Now out of 6 days into the month I had two that were not good and putting them together, they undid all the good I did since the beginning of the month. I did it to myself. My granddaughter was selling chocolate chip cookies with her girlfriends to pay for a trip they are planning on going to. I had to buy a dozen cookies, thank God they helped me eat them but I still ate too many and overshot my target. But here is the funny part of this story. The trip they are saving for is for of all places, the Corning museum of glass. It was so funny when they told me I had to buy a dozen cookies. Most kids want to go to New York City or some big exciting place, these kids want to go to a museum. Then they unveiled the rest of their plan. They want the ex-wife and I to rent an RV and drive them all there and back when they are on their Easter vacation. LOL. They said they'll pay their way. They just want her and me to be the adults since they are only 10, 11, & 12 years old. So of course I had to agree. The first day they have already sold over $100 so I think I am on the way to Corning New York's Glass Museum.
