Why does the sleep/rest category tell me I have burned a certain amount of calories? I never add my sleep there it just shows up?

So, the website calculates your BMR (or Basal Metabolic Rate-- the calories you burn to maintain your current weight just by existing), and then presumes that you are sleeping for 8 hours and provides how many calories you likely burned when sleeping/at rest. You can go back in and change that!

Oh ok I was wondering and I know I never sleep 8 hours during the week lol Thanks!
