billtech66's Journal, 04 December 2016

Today is 12/4/2016, so it's been exactly one week since I took off my Surge FItbit on 11/27/16 6PM.
The Surge Fitbit caused Tennis Elbow on my left arm, with unbearable pain when picking things up or bending my wrist or moving my arm.
Today, pain is greatly reduced! Only have some pain in the morning, but I do stretching exercises, bending my wrist back and down, in all rotations. Interesting that now it doesn't hurt at all bending it down, whereas before that was when it hurt the most. Now in the morning before stretching, it will hurt only when bending the wrist up. Now the pain is only 10% at most of what it was before I removed Fitbit.
I'm back to playing video games and back to my twice weekly full body workout with no increase in pain from doing so. :)

Did I miss it, or did you say why the fitbit caused the pain??

dboza, I had trouble finding the source, but found hundreds of posts online suspecting fibit the cause. One post said for him "it's the fitbit that's causing it for sure. (and he:) Measured the bluetooth 2.4 ghz signal at 0.1uWatts power every 2 seconds, directed at the wrist, not outward." this is what he thinks is the cause. plus the flashing green lights that read the pulse. But no clear answer HOW it 'caused' it. But in many cases, especially mine, have nailed the source of the issue as the Fitbit. And, Fitbit quickly offered full refund, not questioning or arguing.
