Hellooo, fellow dieters!

Time for my new favorite activity-- spilling my guts over what I put in my guts! Today was a pretty good day, and a tad bit eventful...but I'll get to all that stuff in due time.

I spent the night last night cuddling with WB at his place, and plan to fall asleep there again tonight! There's nothing as great as falling asleep next to him, except maybe for being able to wake up next to him in the morning. After he drove me back to my dorm, I took a quick shower and weighed myself again (yes, I had weighed myself the day before, but that was in the middle of the day after I had eaten). This time, I was only 288!

Yes, that's still a far way from where I want to be, but it's certainly progress (I'm down 7 lbs now from where I started) and that's what I'm looking for. It's been hard-earned progress, at that...today, I've been pretty good, although I've grown hungry.

So, so hungry.

Well, not really that hungry, although I do have a small headache which I think may be the result of only eating 851 calories today. A small price to pay to lose weight, no? Besides, I don't have anything to eat here (at WB's house), which helps me keep on my goal. It's a lot easier to not eat when you don't have anything to eat!

I skipped breakfast because I just plain ran out of time-- WB didn't drive me over to the university until 10:30 (a fact which is entirely my fault, as I tend to be incredibly lazy in the mornings and beg him for "just five more minutes!" of lying in a queen size bed. The beds at school aren't that bad, but they're a bit small, and too short for me (I guess most of the other girls in my dorm aren't nearly six feet tall). Y'all can only imagine how tough it is to fit two of us, each near or above six feet tall...not to mention how wide I am XD.

We traveled about 45 min from home to go help out WB's grandma with some yard work, hence my extra exercise today. Afterwards, we headed out to eat-- McDonald's, which I know is no good, but it's cheap and available, plus I don't have to spend any valuable time cooking (as much as I love to cook, it can be hard to find the motivation or the time).

So, lunch was McDonald's, but I picked my items carefully-- rather than going for my usual meal (the fish sandwich combo with a sprite), I chose a side salad, small fries, and parfait. It was a surprisingly satisfying meal, and although I had the calories budgeted to eat more, I resisted temptation and stuck to my plan. WB got a McRib meal, and I might have maybe stolen a fry or two of his to supplement mine, but otherwise I was able to keep away.

I wasn't planning on eating dinner, but WB's other grandma offered me some veggies and rice...I was hungry, so I gave in to temptation. At least it was fairly healthy food, although I couldn't bring myself to finish the veggies-- they had just cooled down too much by the time I went to eat them. Also, I had burnt my tongue earlier that day, and couldn't quite taste things all day. Hopefully that will clear up soon, so that eating will be enjoyable again. In all truth, I miss the days when I didn't think about just calories, calories, calories. But it'll all be worth it when I get down to 170.

Now, I'm relaxing in WB's bed, lying next to him as we watch American Horror Story-- it's a bit too dark for me (I'm a huge scaredy cat), but he likes it, and the story is pretty interesting...plus it's a great excuse to hold his hand and cuddle close. I can be a bit devious sometimes!

He's been really sweet tonight, as supportive as ever. Although, in his words, I don't need to lose any weight, he understands that it's important to me, and is being really supportive. A few moments ago, he just looked me in the eyes and told me that he thought I was beautiful. Honestly, I have no idea what I did to deserve such a great man.

But that's enough of me bragging about my great guy, and it's probably time for me to sign off and try and get some sleep!

Some head aches are caused by being dehydrated. We get a fair amount of fluid from our food so when you cut back on your food you are also cutting back on your water.

Thanks for the tip, @fatoldlady! I try to drink plenty of water, but it can be tough...I need to set some sort of goal for each day
