But a better choice than bread, right? I think rice would fit in with having a high carb day as part of a carb cycling regimen which kinda is what my Monday to Thursday falls into. Usually I'd eat cake, bread, pizza, roti, etc. on a thursday but lets see if staying away from wheat today will make a difference, if any.

Eat with chop sticks, that way you can't shovel the rice. Just teasing BBO...I know Indian families meals consist of the staple rice. Just a bit of tongue in cheek humour. I know you have made many changes and I salute you for that. Small steps...eh ;-)

Liz and LCFF u girls make a great team of support :) I didnt eat any wheat but I did eat rice and had ice cream but without the cone with sugar free choc syrup :D I know I know, I shouldn't have had the ice cream but the mutton curry for supper was a big too spicy(mom tried a new chilli powder lol). I did enjoy my apple and yoghurt snack between my two meals. Today is fast day :D I'm going to attempt making Sunday as my low carb day.

Great Ill do the Sunday Low carb with you . My fit freak friends are having a Pizza Night can you imagine that ,, and if I dont eat some carbs they will kill me lolol So sunday will have to be my day to get back on track for the new week . Well it was an ice cream called Burnt Almond and had almonds in it. Almonds are healthy! LOL! How many grams of carbs is your low carb day Liz ? I'll aim for 50g or lower.

My carb intake depends i guess on my day i think i go a bit lower then that during the week ( I dont eat wheat or pasta or potatoes sometimes i even rule out sweet ones but thats me so dont compare please remember everyone has their own diet and i actually eat according to my blood type too . but 50g is good for a big boy like you .Its great if you can keep that up really , you should be proud .

Yes I totally agree. I've had days of 100g of carbs and its still better than 500g of carbs but I'll try limiting to 50g. I've had days previously where I would keep carbs to under 30g on a normal eating day. Lets just see how it goes :)

Always listen to what your body tells you - if you can manage less its ok - if not help your body remember that . And if you are training its obvious that your intake can be much more then that .
