I can't say that I'm surprised.

45 days off the rails, 11 pounds regained.

I've done this before and know what to do now. It starts with recording everything that I eat. Luckily, I should lose a few pounds quickly, building a little positive momentum. Then, I figure it'll take a while to get back to where I was a month and a half ago. That's okay.

The next few days will be tough, battling cravings and new, bad habits, and this weekend will be tough, with travel and a big family get-together, but so be it.

The good news is that my mental state is right where it needs to be. I'm not feeling particularly down about my gain, as I knew that it was happening. As crazy as it sounds, I'm relieved that I _only_ gained 11 pounds.

Back to work!
197.0 lb Lost so far: 18.0 lb.    Still to go: 19.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Good to see you back. Ups and downs, we've all been there, and there again, and again haha. Good thing is that you know what you need to do. It may happen today, it may happen next week, it may happen next month. You're not where you want to be right now, but what you do have is time....onwards and upwards :-)

Well, there's 31 more days before the New Years resolutionists crowd the gyms. Are you gonna derail before then or are you gonna be 5 pounds ahead of the game? Remember there's lots of Christmas landmines and potholes coming your way. To paraphrase Red from Shawshank, Get busy living or get busy dieting, that's goddamn right.
