This site is for people that want to loose weight, so I really hope people are not going to use it as a politic site. If you want to talk about politics there are plenty of other sites for that. I need tips on loosing weight not politics. Just saying.

I said before the election that I wanted to vote "Nobody for President" and I still feel pretty much the same way. I think a lot of people did not vote for Trump so much as against Hillary, and I've heard a lot say that they would have voted for one of the third party candidates if they thought they had a chance.

Pickles, I love your analogy. Our only hope now is what President Obama said. President-Elect Trump will have to function within the rules and laws of our nation. We're wearing safety pins out here in the Boston/Providence area to remind everyone that we are paying attention. I'm fuming over the media and all of these TV personalities now trying to calm everyone down with efforts toward unity. What a contemptuous bunch of bunk.

Interesting, that California almost voted 2 to 1 for Hillary. I wonder if ever Cali has been that lopsided. California has a lot of wealthy people that couldn't resist the TAX cut too. My doctor was trying to rationalize his vote. I knew why he voted. We got to hope Trump gets his act together, but I believe this will be something like we haven't ever seen. Too many boobs surrounding him, and I'm not talking about breasts. I trust him, more than the people around him.

Not sure I want to get political on this site, but I get it that people are concerned. My hubby voted for Trump because he hates Hillary, my daughters voted for Hillary because they hate Trump, and I wasted my vote on the Libertarian because I don't like either of them. IMO Trump will turn out to be the biggest do-nothing President we've ever had. He's already waffling on half his campaign "promises." This country has survived lousy Presidents before, and this too shall pass.

I believe Hillary being a female, traditional, democrat really hurt her. I do believe Trump has a real advantage over Hillary. He has the House and Senate, which is something Obama never had. Trump wants to do huge infrastructure spending, like Obama could never get from Congress. Most experts believe the benefits to the economy will be short lived, and inflation will soon follow from a ballooning deficit.

Everyone must realize that almost half the country voted for Trump. Yes, Hillary won the popular vote but it was almost split down the middle. Why is that? Obama was a failure in the eyes of many of his supporters or Trump would have never had a chance.

No doubt that half voted for Trump or he wouldn't be President right now. Interesting, that already it seems his son in law is demanding people related to Christie out, and may be the security conduit to the Trump family business. He is smart enough to know he has half the electorate, that is blind to any of his conflicts of interest, and will just be like the King, taking all the benefits of his office, which sounds like, one of them being cozy with one of the wealthiest autocrats in the world, like himself, Vladimir Putin.
