I am tired of fighting with excess skin that holds water like a sponge. After losing 200 pounds, I have at least four square feet of excess skin on my legs and stomach. You fight to get the weight off only to have the insurance companies tell you the removal of the excess skin is cosmetic!! How can it be cosmetic if I am having difficulty walking since the excess skin flaps as I walk and throws me off balance. Now that I had 2 surgeries to correct my back due to negligence, I still can't get the excess skin off.

I am not whining, I just am frustrated.

I don't have nearly as much loose skin as I expected I would after dropping a similar amount. I hope you can find a way to help pay for the removal, that's got to be aggravating as all heck.

Find a different doctor who will code the procedure as required surgery!
