Am trying to up my daily walking to make up for not skating or going to the gym. I'm hoping that once I meet with the PT person again tomorrow, I will be back at the gym walking and doing weights in a way that's safe for rehabbing my shoulder. The arm still hurts though, especially if I drive, so I'm trying not to drive much. And starting today, I'm trying to get my calorie count down gradually because there's just no way I can burn enough calories on the limited exercise I can do.
I am bringing a bag of carrots with me to watch the game on Tuesday night and I swear I will not stuff my face with bad things even of the Cubs struggle in the first game.

So sorry you are injured! Bummer!

Erikahollister thank you -- I'm doing OK. The cortisone injection really kicked in after 48 hours, and I'm able to lift my arm much better than before, and that's made me fairly confident that I will be able to move forward without much trouble. But this episode had really thrown a monkey wrench into my diet regimen. I was already(before the injury) struggling a little to balance calories in calories out, so my weight was really stalled. But now, without skating or going to the gym, the calories out part of the equation is way off balance, and I have to figure out how to drope the calories in again. This is not easy!
