I lost .2 of a LB and Im ecstatic ! I haven't logged any loss in a LONG time and its such a small amount, I know but its hope that Im headed in the right direction. This little victory has really motivated me. I broke out he food scale today and pulled out the measuring cups. I stayed off the idiot box and i it really really helped. Im so looking forward to this next week. Ive set my 1st goal at 10 lbs .. maybe by Christmas. I did a small fast today and waited till noon to eat and I feel great. Ive got some "healthy" tortilla soup on the stove and a huge beggie and fruit tray all cut up. Mom's coming over tonite and DH is off so we are gonna watch the rocky horror remake on Fox tonite and carve pumpkins. Its a GOOD DAY today !
216.2 lb Lost so far: 89.8 lb.    Still to go: 66.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sounds like an awesome day and I liked reading your uplifting post. Good job setting attainable goals and way to hang in there through a plateau! Great Victory!

Yay!!! Food Scale sounds perfect to keep portions right. Ten pounds should be easy-peasy for you, and I'm happy that you're so happy!

I'm watching with interest how WW goes. I love that you are willing to try new things. I sometimes feel like "shaking" things up but scared also. AND thanks for reminding me about the Rocky Horror remake tonight. I haven't been turning on the tv much cuz of all the political nonsense and totally forgot about it!

Nice loss. How is your plumbing working for you since adding fruit and some other carbs to your regular routine.

Sarah, thats an interesting questions bc I was just oddly thinking about that. This are running pretty regular these days.. in fact even more regular than before.. Its a good feeling actually.. cant explain it LOL .. as long as I dont mess with those extra "weekly" points I think I do good. Im making a sincere effort to ignore the fact that I have them. I made cupcakes today and had not BUT DH bday date night is Saturday and Im sure Ill used all my points on booze, but after that Im going straight and narrow till Christmas.

You can do this Redgirl. I have been staying off the scale as well. I am now down another size but know I need to pick up my activities now that winter is coming.

Congrats on the loss, every drop down is earned. Wishing you much success in the coming week!

WW is a very good program. It does allow for flexibility way more than low carb. I always used my extra points for booze or super sized ice cream sundaes. I hope to return to their program once I reach maintenance. Diabetes will dictate my WOE.
