Thanks! I'm plugging away, monitoring my blood sugars... after just a few days of way way way low carb my tastings are reverting to normal.. no meds! I know everyone who decides to finally get serious about weight loss wants to SEE results much quicker than is realistic.. me too! How quickly did y'all see that first 20 come off?

Slowly... many tries. Just keep at it. Bit by bit, choice by choice. Step by step. You can do it.

It took me a month to lose my first 20 lbs. Of course I started at 275 lbs and I went LCHF and alot of it WAS water weight. I can remember feeling sooo puffy then. After that it was about 2 lbs a week, sometimes a little more. I was pretty strict with my diet of low carb. Once I hit the 100's 1-2 lbs a week. I have been battling this last 20 lbs for quite a while, making myself crazy over it. I KNOW consistency is needed! Good Luck on YOUR journey!

It took me about 4 months to drop the first 20. I was already pretty much sugar free, and already doing (pretty much) intermittent fasting, so going LCHF wasn't a huge change for me. At least, not as dramatic as for some other people.

Took me 2 months to loose that first 20 pounds. That is the most recent time that I lost that first 20 pounds. Couldn't tell you how many times I lost it in the past and gained it back. But I swear this is the last time! Like Scarlett who swore to never be hungry again, I swear to never be fat again (after I get skinny that is!).
