Maine coon's Journal, 18 October 2016

I have one of the Aria scales by Fitbit and my cats weigh themselves in regularly. Every morning at least one of them sits on the scale waiting (weighting?) for breakfast and I get a guest weigh in at between 10 and 16 pounds.

I was going to weigh Marcel last night but when I put him on his scale it said low battery and by the time I changed the battery he had vanished. He's a heavy boy so I guess he didn't want to know the number, kinda like me. 

What a beauty! I have an 80 lb (seriously neurotic, like Woody-Allen-neurotic) Husky X rescue dog. For some reason that we can't decipher, he HATES the scale at the vet's, and WILL NOT go on it. So he and the vet have negotiated an agreement. The doc doesn't try to make Jackson go on the scale, and Jackson lets the vet keep both his arms. Win-win! ;-) 

Come to THINK of it, next time my doctor tries to weigh ME, maybe I'll just bite him! It worked for Jackson!
