Happy Day, My Best Buddies!
Today is my three year anniversary at Orange Theory Fitness! Woo Hoo! I have been consistent at gyms in my past history - but I am more fit and strong than ever before going to OTF.

I went to my annual physical today and the doctor's scale said I was five pounds LESS than my home Idiot Box! What the heck? And I had clothes on! 163

Katch Mcardle formula with an LBM of 121.08 pounds or 55 kg.
My BMR is 1558 calories, and my TDEE (with the lowest exercise) is 1870 calories.


#Burn the fat, Feed the muscle

Short Range Goals:
* Maintain the "cut" to return to goal weight on Idiot Boxes by Nov 16 endocrinologist appointment
* Complete HELL WEEK at gym Oct 25-31 attend five classes and get a shirt
* Drink at least 12 - 14 cups of fresh water daily - especially on gym days
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting four to five days
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload
Long Range Goals: 2016-2017
*Bodyfat at 20% or less (Current 23.75%)
*Maintain Idiot Boxes around 152-156lbs staying under goal weight
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

Was the doctor's Scale the old school, sliding weights kind, or digital? Also, as you're one of the HF/LC dieters here, I'm curious about lipids. Did you get labwork done to measure this? I've done Atkins but had to stop because after 4 months my LDL and my ratio went through the roof. Did lose a lot of weight, though.

My workout today has consisted of clearing out a storage closet!! Reach, stretch, lift, twist, push, pull, etc! Lordy, what a job! I'd rather go to the gym!

LOL - @ soon soon soon: my doctor did my cholesterol last year and it was great, Since I have not changed my nutrition or training plan, he opted not to do it this year. He did opt to measure fasting glucose which he said he does on everyone. My resting heart rate is 56...and my blood pressure is low - as in healthy. This doctor is the reason I lost weight in the first place. When I met him the first time, I weighed nearly 250 pounds and he was pretty serious with me about what my future would look like if I didn't lose weight. He thinks I am his poster child!

@ KES - oh yes, I have HELL WELL photos taken every year! This year's t-shirt is really cool, too. It is black with a neat white Day of the Dead skull on it.

@Barb - my doctor did nothing to actually help me lose weight; he just put the fear in me! I did it with eating less than I burned. And, I dropped grains and dairy. For the most part I do LCHF

Lol. I just meant it sounds like your doctor had a kinder scale than mine. You weighed less than at home! I think all doctors push you to be healthier. Dang that hipocratic oath!
