Happy Thursday to the community. Hoping to have this refi done by Monday. We will see. My weight is stable, and knee is feeling great. Finally, got the coffee maker working, nicely. Need to set up the Teamaker, now. Hoping to visit my nephew in San Diego, and spend a day in Ocean Beach, Friday. Need to go to drop off samples at hospital tomorrow, also. Have a great day, everyone!

Enjoy you time with family. Will you go to the beach?? If so can I hide in your suitcase and go too?

Rhontique, and April and Lucy, I will take pictures. That beach is SO, SO nice there in San Diego. I will take some pics and post. My nephew got rid of his boyfriend, so I can stay with him, now. I haven't visited him in a long time. I really look forward to it. I LOVE that beach.

I used to hang out at OB when I lived in San Diego. A friend had a little house right on the beach. Many, many crazy times were had at that house! It was the late 70's/early 80's/disco era, so you can only imagine! LOL! There was a guy with a wild red 'fro that everyone called "Dr. Jerry". He had a seemingly endless supply of pharmaceutical quality cocaine....so I figured that's why he was called "Dr." Nope! Turns out he was actually a dentist, and a darned good one, at that! When I needed 3 wisdom teeth pulled, he did it in no time flat, and had me laughing the whole time!

There used to be a little diner there that had a HUGE breakfast for like 4 bucks. The highlight were the homemade biscuits that were the size of softballs. And you could have as many as you could handle. You served yourself coffee, and sat on hard benches. Ah, the good old days!

Funny, Mskestrela, it is one crazy beach town, and I have spent some crazy, nights partying there with my nephew. Those people really know how to party,, and have a good time. I am sure I have eaten at the café you are talking about. I have eaten at most of them. My nephew is completely NUTS too. I have missed the place, and his boyfriend, is a young, guy taking advantage of my nephew, and I am so glad he dumped his stupid, butt. He had my nephew arrested for domestic abuse. Pissed me off, big time. Give me a name if you can remember, and we will go eat there.

Oh, Warren....that was a long, LONG time ago, and a lot of water has gone under that bridge! I doubt it's even still there. My memories of that time are pretty fuzzy, especially since that was the go-to hangover cure place. But it sounds like the culture hasn't changed a lot in all these years! LOL!!! Ocean Beach was the upscale place to par-tay, while Pacific Beach was the more laid back, pot smoking, grillin' over a campfire spot. Good times. ;)

Well, I think you have mentioned two of the craziest beaches in California for nutty behavior. I have often heard of Pacific Beach's softball tournament, that is absolutely the nuttiest thing to be apart of for a week there. My nephew has lived a bock from the beach for 25 years. He is barely, cognizant. lol Why my wife never attends.

Bwahahaha! OMG, I'd almost forgotten about the Over The Line Tournament!! Team names that can't be said on the news because they're obscene!!!!! My favorites from years past were "The Episiotomy Stitchlickers" and "3 bats, 6 balls". ROFL!

lulani , I am going to post the "30 Day Plank Challenge", trouble is, I have 21 days to my surgery, but someone else should create the challenge.

Legendary, "Over the Line" Tournament! You got it, Mskestela! That's what it was, on some island, RIGHT, near Pacific Beach.

I will check these exercises out closer tomorrow. I've mastered the 20 second plank. Thanks for sharing and encouraging fitness. That's great news about your knee. Best wishes!

Chica, I took a fitness test at my gym, and this was pretty, tough of the exercises they had me do. I think the toughest was squatting against a wall.

That sounds pretty tough. I will make an effort to do some tomorrow.
