Holy crap has life been busy. Working 50 hours a week, plus 2 courses for grad school, plus new boy toy, plus cycling leaves me with not much spare time. However, carving out my gym time again, since that takes priority. Starting at my new gym this week, and I’m super excited! I had a one-on-one intro class yesterday, and have one more today before I start attending regular classes. The trainer just looks like a beast, but was soooo friendly and helpful when working with me. I’ve never done any weight training with a barbell, so I’m a little intimidated, but it should be fun once I get the hang of it.
Also, finally achieved one of my goals for the summer! Did my first century ride last week. Completed in 7 hours, which, since my goal was to simply finish, is fine with me!
