I did something ive never done.. I logged a beer.. DH surprised me with a impromptu dinner date last night. It was cute. He was like " i just want to go out and unwind" anyway, he chose our favorite wings place and I didnt not make the healthiest choices but I didnt make the worst and you know nothing washes down some wings like a ice cold beer. I had one.. and felt really full after and kinda regretted it but I logged it. Its new to see how much one beer really effects your net carbs. I was under he impression, bc I read somewhere that bud light had like 5-7 net carbs so that's why i chose but light but it logged it at something like 30 net.. PSH. Its logged. On a side note.. late afternoons are killing me snack-wise.. I get the worst cravings to mindlessly eat crap and what saves me is I had no crap in my house. I think the issues is Im not eating a good enough lunch.. OH i take my lunch every day .. but i take a salad ( I eat this at my desk around 12-1) with the plan that Ill come home at 2 and eat my pre-made protein/lunch and I dont.. I get lazy and want to nap the rest of my lunch or tired or busy or what ever bc I clock back in at home to finish my day 3-630. I need to find a way to eat that lunch.. I dont like taking it bc no one likes to smell anyone else's lunch .. no matter how good it is and since my lunch technically is 2-3, Im eating at my desk. And every one eats at their desk in my world but I dont want to be the co worker with the stinky lunch ( for the record I always make chicken but there's that one butt head that will whine about it). Maybe I just need to "beef" up my salad. LOL. Gonna water my plants then head out for a walk before work. Have a great day every one !

So the difference between 9/2015 and 9/2016 is that you work in an office now instead of at home? Trying to pinpoint why it's so much harder to lose weight in your current environment. Personally, I only bring fresh fruit and raw salads to work, as mindless munching on berries is not going to hold up any weight loss. Nuts are good too -- bring only 1 serving a day, though.

Hi soon. Its that and a lot more. I had a back injury that took me out of the gym for a while and as soon as I started to get over/treat that I found out I had carpel tunnel. The constant ongoing pain and limited mobility between my back and hands seriously affected my ability to work out which I think caused bout of depression that Im just getting over. That with the change in my work schedule/home life threw me off as I no longer had the same time or energy to do the things I loved and the depression just made it worse. I got lazy and started to feel sorry for myself and started to get back into my old habit of turning to food for comfort. I pushing past it now. The kitchen at work is stocked with what they deem healthy but are no means healthy by my standards.. but when getting out of bed is an accomplishment, you eat whatever is there. Im back to giving a sh!t and working on getting back to losing. Luckily Ive been ok at maintaining .. which is huge in my book.. bc i could have easily gained.. and gained alot..

Right, making it through a period of depression without gaining weight is definitely a win!

Don't you just love it when you get a carb surprise!!!! Watermelon was my big surprise yesterday....you've come so far...and you'll build up your momentum again. Life seems to be a constant adjustment! Thinking of you....
