I finished my 48+ hrs (61 hrs) dry fast after a long walk and shower.I finished my dry fast at 16:00, and ate between 19:00-21:00 (22/2).

The 3rd day was a lil bit harder than the first two days. Probably because your glycogen and glycerol storages are depleted, your body gets into an energy shortage and starts burning muscle tissue.

I had my first ketogenic meal at the evening. It's a bit tricky to measure and weigh all the food and make sure you don't pass the 20-25gr's/day carb limit. It'll take some time to figure out the food for propper keto meals. I reached 26 gr's of carbs with a single green smoothie. A single lemon had 15gr's of carb and the 2 small cucumbers had 8 gr's of carbs in them.

I slept at 00:00 and woke up at 10:50. I slept long but I couldn't sleep well. I'll have another walk today. I gotto figure out the lowest carb veggies and find a very low carb, high protein plant based source. The eggs I ate irritated my kidneys overnight.

200.4 lb Lost so far: 49.2 lb.    Still to go: 52.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Make sure to count the net carbs, not carbs. Counting the carbs themselves, makes it impossible to get enough veggies for a healthy diet! Fatsecret also has an option to track net carbs ;)

Agree with Paketbote! I eat a LOT of veggies and am able to keep well within the 20g or less NET carbs a day....

I subtract fiber from total carbs to find the net carbs :) I'll eventually learn and adapt. The veggies are also my main priority, I need to get a sufficient amount of them. I believe we can pass the carb limits a tad by eating a little more veggies, because it won't spike the insuline levels as higly carb food.

How do you track net carbs on FS?

Go to settings, and scroll down, then remove the check from carbs and check the Net Carbs option

You can also subtract fiber from the total carb amount.
