Lisa Vandermeer's Journal, 27 August 2016

Its crazy. The minute I started writing everything down that I ate every day, I began making substitutions. We went to dinner and instead of having the potato, I got an extra serving of veggies. Then we went to Baskin-robbins. I got the Daiquiri Ice, at only 100 calories. Still had yummy ice cream 1/3 of the calories. In fact, I am actually having a hard time eating all of the calories that I am supposed to.
I am not eating anything fat free, or fake. All real food. I am eating far more veggies and fruit than I did before. I have cut way back on my breads, potatoes and rice. But I really don't deprive myself.
Hoping I can go the long haul.
