Good evening buddies,
The weekend is finally here, and I am definitely ready for some down time
I found some great recipes during lunch today. Tomorrow I'm making a garden veggie spaghetti casserole, and will try at least one of the Buddha bowl recipes. Salads definitely do not have to be boring. I also found an interesting recipe for superfood scones with cacao nibs, so may make those.
Today's exercise: 30 jumping jacks 30 squat jumps (love these!) 15 minutes kickboxing sculpt 15 minutes cardiovascular 2 minute plank 2 minute plank with twist (1 minute each side)
I will be having a well deserved glass of merlot with dinner 🍷
Have a great night!

Good for you! I started exercising 7 days ago, and I feel really good. The 2nd day was rough, because I was sore. I have been off of work for 3 years waiting for ankle surgery, and I am finally healed enough to work-out! Keep up your awesome routine!!

That's great Amyd914! I'm glad you are able to start exercising again. I've recently started trying to kick my exercise up a notch, and hope it pays off :)

For all of you who do planks regularly, kudos to you. They are killing me, lol!

A year ago I couldn't hold a plank position for 20 seconds. Now, I do them in sets, with shoulder touches or side planks. Its Kaizen - the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement. Baby steps until you can dance :)

I may do that with the side planks next time. I struggle with those the most. Thanks :)

I do side planks they kill but they seriously tone your obliques :) no pain no gain

No pain, no gain is right :) I'm not a big fan of side planks yet, but will keep trying. The regular plank is a good addition to my daily exercise so will keep doing that. Smart food + smart exercise = success

I like the "no sweat no glory" vs. the "no pain no gain."
