Big Boy Optimus's Journal, 22 August 2016

I wanted to show people just what you lose if you lost only 100g(0.1kg)of fat so I put some mutton fat on my scale and took a pic of it.

Just look at how much of fat it takes to weigh only 100g(0.1kg). Our weight loss is a combination of loss of water, waste and fat. Fat cells hold onto water so the more fat you have, the more water your body holds which contributes to overall weight. Focusing just on fat loss will make us appreciate every 100g(o.1kg) that we lose and we can track fat loss more accurately with measurements than actual weight on a scale :)

Have a good week everyone!!!

Thats pretty amazing and a brick of butter is 500 gram or half a kg. Just hold it in your hand. Its a solid weight.

I always love using the 500g brick of butter/margerine example LCFF but this time I wanted to emphasize the weight of fat itself. I'm not sure how close our bodyfat is to that of sheep but it should be pretty close. I'll do it again with chicken fat next time :)
