So I go down last week, and now I'm back up. :(

I'm not even quite sure what I did wrong this week. I ate well throughout the week, and even though I had pizza Thursday night, I was still at 1600 calories, and then I did my normal eat out for dinner Friday/Sat night, with Sunday as my recovery day.

I played volleyball for almost 4 hours Sunday, and it was very hot outside. I'm also very very sore today. I'm thinking maybe I just have some water weight because of some reason or another, and I will go down next week. I'm open to other opinions.

I ran 5 times this week, and I'm back up to 2.75 miles non stop, and my heart rate stays in zone 4 most of the time, so I'm doing well. This week I'm going to keep the 2.75, and I'll go up to 5k the following week. Other than that, I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.

Lots of fat and carbs in pizza. Seems like a lot of processed sugar in your entry too. Try cutting that out.

"I am very sore today" that is your clue. Muscle soreness means your muscle fibers were torn and water replaces to help them heal. This shows on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or smaller than usual loss. Google "why the scale lies" for insight. It will go away in a few days. Any time you do something different for exercise and experience the soreness, you may see a temporary scale gain. The scale will catch up. Happens to me too.

Thanks Suzi161! I'm still sore from the Sunday game, I can feel it all in my back, hoping it goes away before the weekend, so I can do it again ;p haha I appreciate the insight!
