The scales have decided to behave themselves and I'm losing again. I can see changes in my body too. Hopefully I'll reach my next mini goal for Christmas

My optimism at the beginning of last week was short lived. OH has not been very well and a visit with Ollie to the vet resulted in him being booked in for an operation on Thursday week. He is having the tumour removed and also being castrated. Not looking forward to that at all. OH has been muttering doom and gloom about it ever since, but we don't have any other option and I do trust our vet. Ollie has never been to the vet before though or been separated from us. He comes everywhere with us so I'm not looking forward to leaving him there. I know I'm being daft. but ......

OH is going to see the dr tomorrow and he isn't happy that the dr he usually sees is off sick for 3 months and he has to see someone else at the practice. I think I'll go in with my head under a blanket after the way he moaned at the receptionist.

Its been a very misty day today. The mist cleared for about 30 minutes at lunch time and then rolled down the hill again and shrouded us again. More forecast for tomorrow!

Lets hope the rest of the week is more positive. I find it very hard to remain upbeat when all around me are doing doom and gloom. On the bright side I'm going to a workshop on Wednesday for the Alzheimers Society - a day out for me. It will be good to meet new people and get out.

Have a positive healthy week

Indeed!!! I noticed right away the drop in your numbers!! KUDOS to you!!! Even with the "doom and gloom" still you are making progress. I do hope Ollie comes through the operation with flying colors and OH survives seeing an alternate doctor. I must admit though ... I'm sort of the same way ... once I trust a professional I really don't like to change, whether it is a doctor or the person who cuts my hair!! LOL!!! I've been putting off getting my tooth fixed for weeks now ... because my beloved dentist is recovering from shoulder surgery. Talk about daft!! Keep your chin up lassie and enjoy your day out!!

oh...i hate having to take one of my girls to the vet, much less leave them, take a shirt or favorite toy and leave with him so that when he wakes up he knows your coming back...great job on the loss...
