EDIT: Brunch was leftover chicken legs from yesterday, fresh spinach and a bowl of grits with margerine added. Also had about 5 cups of coffee. Unsure about grits and blood sugar levels so I ate them last letting the protein, fat and fiber from the other two items cushion any possible blow.

Bicycle results to be added in a few.


Edit: Dinner fast food from Del Taco. Bean and cheese cup,Spicy Jack Quesadilla and a Deluxe Taco(has sour cream added.)

What a difference getting back on my plan makes in the morning weigh in!

What did I do differently yesterday?

Answer- got back on the exercise bike. 30 minutes at an easy pace with a little speedup at the end. Just boosting the 61 year old metabolism which lasts for hours.

As a diagnosed prediabetic who is determined to not get to the dreaded next stage, I believe that the key is to depend on a 3 legged stool. Diet, exercise and taking the drug that my doctor has prescribed for my condition. Like any 3 legged stool, knock one leg off and it is of no use anymore.

After my work accident where I decided to test which was harder- concrete or my thick skull, and btw the decision is a tie- and also discovering a hamspring tweak as well, I took 3 days off the bike, and also upped my food intake, and gained. Now I am basically saying I am back to normal and back on my plan.

In other words, I glued that missing leg back onto the stool.

It was written for prediabetics but in my opinion will benefit anyone that is overweight. Understand I am no doctor or dietician, just a regular Joe who was overweight and wanted to lose it, and not count calories in the process as I am, how do you say it, "math challenged."

Here is the morning weigh in pic. Again, I do this because this site's algos evidently do not believe that you can lose over x amount of ounces in one day. There will be meal pics and more exercise stuff later. Also I am going to give the link to the book blog which has more food pics and a couple videos etc.
