Well it did go under yesterday's weight after all.

Speaking of yesterday, dinner was the 3 grilled chicken tacos at Del Taco. Yes, I pigged out on fast food, but I pigged out on good fast food- small flour tortilla, some lettuce and tomatoes diced, grilled chicken and sour cream. Probably shouldn't have added their Del Scorcho sauce which has maybe HFCS in it, don't quote me on that last. But man, they tasted so good!

I have talked so much about chayote squash(gourd technically) that I thought you might want to see how it is prepped.

Again a repost of what it looks like from the market.


First peel away the skin. It is thin btw.


Here they are split open. My girlfriend says just dice the whole thing up
and sautee in cooking oil. She used Mazola oil this morning.

The taste is sweet. I prefer chayote over potatoes as chayote does not spike my blood sugar like potatoes do.

Edit: rode exercycle 45 minutes, 7.2 miles, 303.4 calories burned. This is my penance for basically two breakfasts this morning.

For dinner, a chicken taco and a bean and cheese cup from Del Taco. Also a snack of peanut butter and milk late last night.
