This isn't going well!! I workout everyday and I only lost 2 pounds.
289.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 109.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Stay positive. Losing 2.0 lbs in one week is still a good achievement. To ensure you're staying on the right track start logging your food everyday. This will keep you honest about your calorie/nutrient intake and helps you monitor how many calories you're consuming and burning. Also your carb intake may be a bit higher than optimal for weight loss at this point. Try keeping your carbs to around 150 grams per day.

Working out is only a small part of it. The best results come from keeping your calories eaten at only 1200-1300/day. Portion sizes have to shrink in order for YOU to shrink. It's the hardest part of dieting, but once you get the hang of it, the pounds just fall off.
