500 gr. Just 1 pound in 1 month.
ugh... that is so demotivating.
I really wanted to lose like 3 kg, or AT LEAST 1. But no.
I was going to weight tomorrow, but decided to do it today.

It does make me feel sad. I don't know if it's because my period is starting this week, or if that's my real weight, and that everything I did right during this month just made me lose 1 single pound. I mean, the month was not perfect, and I did have my BAD days, but it wasn't THAAAT bad.

This sucks.

But I have to keep on this, or I'll NEVER get to my goal. right? It's better getting there pound by pound than staying just where I started.
So.. I'm not running towards my goal... I'm not walking... I'm not giving baby steps towards my goal... I am CRAWLING towards it.

And I really feel bad. But I don't want this feeling to overwhelm me. Right now I am dealing with a difficult fight within myself. If I let "that me" win (the defeated, sad, frustrated, disappointed), then I'll give up, and I'll start eating crap and not exercising at all, and gaining those 500 gr back in a couple of days.

I'm kind of a proud, stubborn person... but right now... I DO need support and some words that could cheer me up a bit. Even if it comes from strangers.

Wish you success & smiles.

Hey keep it up! Your doing a great job sounds like . Your period does make you retain fluids so do yourself a favor and weigh yourself after your period. Don't worry about the number so much:) you'll get there !

Stick to it.... give your body a chance to adjust if you give up now it never will

So here is the one guarantee that is always true: If you give up, the weight will not come off. Period. You must stick with it. I have had weeks of eating bad and weight came off, while other weeks I'm "perfect" with a gain. The body is a strange thing, but one thing is certain...slow and steady wins the race. hang in there, you are not alone

Are you taking your measurements? There have been weeks when my scale didn't move, but I lost inches. The scale is not your friend! Stick with it, it will be worth it! Remember, you are on a journey, and you will get to your destination if you stay the course! YOU CAN DO IT

Be proud of yourself just for sticking with your plan for this long. Don't stop now! You can do this, although this probably won't be the only time you feel frustrated because you are not losing weight fast enough. If you keep going, you will see more progress. Maybe the cure for your frustration is to mix things up--try a new exercise, cook a new, healthy recipe, drink more water today!

thank, everybody. This is so hard, but there's no other way than keep forward.

Yes, keep going forward. A pound lost in a month is so much better than a pound or two gained. Maybe you need to tweak things a bit? That's up to you but most importantly just stick to moving forward because the alternative is so much worse. You're doing good stuff, positive stuff, for your body and your life.
