I weighed in this morning early. Lost a little, am grateful since I traveled. Also happy because the choices I made worked to a degree. It is true, you can eat all those weekly allowance points and still have a loss. I am not used to eating all the weekly allowance points and found this weekend that I do not like the "stuffed" feeling anymore. So, saving those points for a special occasion is a good idea for me. This morning we had a big breakfast "Cracker Barrel" style and I ate small portions the rest of the day. When traveling, that is our favorite meal, breakfast, gives us the rest of the day to work it off. We are with 4 of our Grandchildren and working it off comes easily here. The other 2 will join us on Saturday for a weekend of water park fun. I guess this is a great weekend to start that exercise program. Can I keep it up next week. Stay tuned for the answer, exercising (or rather getting started exercising) has been hard. I think maybe it is that I used to walk like 5 miles a day and hardly ever missed a day, I am over whelmed with the idea of starting again. I am older now, more aches and pains, and on the plus side tons and tons more energy. Balance, that is what I need. Slow and steady wins the race (I am not in a race, I just think I need to go at this slow and hope to be steady at it). Those are my thoughts this evening. Take care!!
