Today has been a special day. I've worn my first ever pair of trousers. When I was younger there were no jeans even for workmen and young ladies didn't wear trousers. By the time it became the norm for women to wear them I was too overweight. I'm quite sure you'll all think I'm quite mad but I'm not sure whether I like them or not. They were donated by my daughter and perhaps if I buy some of my own to fit my new shape a bit better I'll be happier with them. Eating tonight has been a bit scrappy as I've been trying to empty the fridge - baked beans and egg for tea. I've washed, ironed, scrubbed and polished everywhere and the car is all packed and ready to go at first light in the morning. I've had my hair cut 'n coloured today and collected my outfit from the dressmakers since I've had to have it taken in. I'm having my first ever manicure when we get to my daughters tomorrow. This losing weight is giving me a lot of "first times". I'll be gone for 2 weeks and I'll post some pics when I get back. Keep on track and eating healthily. :)
